As part of the 18th edition of the Shanghai Art Festival, Zhujiajiao Water Village Music Festival is a comprehensive cultural activity that first uses the whole ancient town as the performance venue. A music carnival that highlights modern ballad and original folk songs and it combines many music forms such as experimental, electric, rock, etc.
The line-up is composed by local and foreign artists who will perform for 2 days around the town.
The concerts are organized at Meizhou Road just in front of the Humanistic Museum and at the Xin Wang Chang Music Hall, inside the original ancient villa's garden.

Take a bus from the bus station at the Puanlu Bus Station near People's Square (Chinese: 普安路). It takes about 40 minutes and the fare is 10RMB. Zhujiajiao is the end terminal. Buses are operated starting from 6AM and they leave every 30 minutes.
